He is married to Carole and they have one child: Anneliese.

Alex graduated with a Juris Doctor Degree from Ave Maria School of Law in Ann Arbor Michigan. He was also the recipient of the Special St. Ives Award presented to the student who has acted most vigorously in defense of a Catholic moral and social order. Alex also has a B.A from the University of Toronto where he majored in Christianity and Culture and Political Science.
